Improved productivity by 320%

Essential Energy required a new mobile workforce platform to help increase the efficiency of their field service teams. This included scheduling, health & safety and reporting to deal with outages caused by lightning strikes and bush fires, a common occurrence in Australia. A crew would be dispatched to an incident with all documentation prior to attending each incident. 

Then a crew would have to return to the depot before repeating this process. The new mobile platform allows crews to access critical information and log mandatory data without returning to their depot. The APP delivered a huge 320% productivity gain allowing a crew to deal with three incidents compared to only one prior to the release of the new workforce APP.
