Raise HCP awareness and reduce needlestick injury which can lead to HIV and Hepatitis C infection.
New Media developed a strategy that raised awareness targeting HCPs and their dependents. A campaign ran for six months featuring HCPs who had been infected through needlestick injury explaining how the infection had impacted them and their families. A comprehensive education program highlighted how to mitigate risk and what to do if you do receive a needlestick injury.
The 12-month campaign helped raise awareness across the healthcare industry and reduce needlestick injury by 46% across the UK in just 12 months.
